ADVITOS wins iF DESIGN AWARD 2026 Gold for the ADVOS BK300

Munich - ADVITOS GmbH has been honoured with the prestigious iF DESIGN AWARD 2026 Gold – one of the highest international recognitions in industrial design. With its innovative therapy unit, the ADVOS BK300, ADVITOS prevailed against thousands of submissions and impressed the jury with outstanding design quality and a strong focus on user needs.

The iF DESIGN AWARD is one of the world’s most renowned design prizes, recognising outstanding achievements in design and innovation. This year, more than 11,000 entries from nearly 70 countries were submitted to the competition – only around 75 received the Gold distinction.

The ADVOS BK300, a blood purification device designed to provide patient-individualised support in cases of multiple organ failure, was awarded Gold in the discipline Product Design / Medical & Healthcare. The device combines advanced medical technology with a user-centred design concept: an ergonomic height, colour coding, clearly structured graphical guidance and an intuitive user interface help reduce the potential for errors, stress and uncertainty in critical clinical situations.

The jury statement reads:
“A highly complex intensive care device is made approachable and intuitive through flawlessly executed design. We were particularly impressed by the clarity of its interface, the color-coded guidance, and the calming formal language, which reduce error, stress, and fear in life-critical clinical environments. Human-centred design has a transformative impact in clinical settings.”

The award underlines ADVITOS’ ambition to develop high-performance medical systems not only at the highest technical level but also with outstanding design – with a clear focus on safety, efficiency and intuitive use in everyday clinical practice.

ADVITOS also thanks the design agency WILDDESIGN for the successful collaboration in developing the design of the ADVOS BK300. As one of the leading agencies in medical design, WILDDESIGN made a significant contribution to translating technological innovation and clinical requirements into a thoughtful and user-oriented product design. The close partnership was an important factor in creating a system that sets new standards both functionally and aesthetically.

Further information about the winning project is available on the official iF website.
