Munich, Germany – ADVITOS GmbH has received the prestigious iF DESIGN AWARD 2026 Gold, one of the most distinguished accolades in international industrial design. With its innovative ADVOS BK300 therapy system, the company prevailed against thousands of entries, earning the jury's recognition for its outstanding design quality and exceptional focus on user needs.
The iF DESIGN AWARD is one of the world’s most prestigious design competitions, recognising outstanding achievements in design and innovation. This year, more than 11,000 entries from nearly 70 countries were submitted, with only around 75 receiving the coveted Gold distinction.
The ADVOS BK300, a blood purification system designed to provide patient-specific support in cases of multiple organ failure, was awarded Gold in the Product Design / Medical & Healthcare category. The device combines advanced medical technology with a user-centred design concept. Features such as an ergonomic working height, colour-coded components, clearly structured graphical guidance, and an intuitive user interface help reduce the risk of errors, stress, and uncertainty in critical clinical situations.
The jury commented:
“A highly complex intensive care device is made accessible and intuitive through flawlessly executed design. Particularly impressive are the clarity of the user interface, the colour-coded guidance, and the calming visual language, all of which help reduce errors, stress, and anxiety in the clinical environment. Human-centred design demonstrates a transformative impact in healthcare settings.”
